Prevention Efforts

Our vision is to inspire our youth to see the endless possibilities available in their lives and the community in which they live.

When we are successful, youth learn how to make good decisions and set the highest of expectations for their peers and their community.

SUPD

Substance Use Prevention Department

  1. We bring the community together to build our community-wide approach to preventing underage substance abuse.

  2. We utilize the voices and perspectives of youth in prevention conversations and support them in becoming peer leaders.

  3. We work to reduce youth substance use by promoting safety, enhancing beautification, and providing education.

  4. We protect our youth, community, and environment with Prescription Drug Take Back Drop Boxes that promote the safe disposal of unused medication.
