The Brandywine Watershed Discover Day Camp (BWDC) engages youth in outdoor exploration, science & educational activities, and outdoor discovery to encourage a healthy connection with the natural world and develop the skills needed to preserve their local environment. The camp is a part of CYI’s “Gems in Your Backyard” project, where Coatesville youth are encouraged to explore, discover, appreciate and protect hidden gems that are present in their own back yards (local community).

The 2016 Camp will operate July 11-15 and is open to students who will be in grades 4-6 (in the 2016/17 school year) and who live in, and/or attend school in the Coatesville Area School District. The camp fee is $50.00 per student and runs Monday through Friday from 9am – 4pm.  If you have any questions, please contact jarvis@coatesvilleyouthinitiative.org.

Please note that the BWDC is limited to the first 20 registrants.
